I'm so excited you’re here. My journey started in Spanish Town, Jamaica, where I was raised by a strong, hardworking, and loving single mother. Growing up with humble beginnings, I learned early on the values of gratitude, resourcefulness, resilience, and creativity — lessons my mother passed down to me both in life and in the kitchen.
Her favorite saying was:

"Use weh yuh have, and tun yuh hand mek fashion."
(Meaning: Be resourceful and make the most of what you have.)

My mother had a true gift — turning the simplest ingredients into the most flavorful meals, and using traditional herbal teas and remedies to keep our family strong and well. I started cooking from a young age, preparing meals before my mother came home from long days working in Kingston. These experiences deeply shaped who I am today — a proud Jamaican woman passionate about food, culture, health, positivity, and creativity.
